Lest you think it's all smooth sailing all the time...
Every time Ryan and Mira spend a few hours with their dad they both end up in tears over some seemingly unrelated thing at some point in the few hours following their return home. They want to see him and usually enjoy their time with him, but it's not without stress. Mira shows her suffering the most and usually ends up in sobbing in the fetal position. She'll start crying over something like the chip clip being hard to get off the bag then ends up saying how she doesn't like being away from me and she misses me when she's with dad, but it's confusing because she wants to see him.
They were with Sree today, and they've both been in tears or shouting over minor inconveniences several times this evening. I'm really happy they have each other to go through this with though. Right now they're sitting side by side on the couch, Mira's arm around Ryan, playing a game.

I'm so sorry Pam. This sounds very familiar - my kids do the same thing. I'm so happy they are able to comfort each other though - that's really wonderful.
