Margaux and Nichole spent the afternoon and day with us yesterday. It was the first time we'd had friends spend the day in the new house since we actually got settled in and unpacked, and it was very nice. Right before they left, we had another visitor. The one that gave me the opportunity, for the first time in my life, to shout "Leaping Lizards!" and actually mean it. I went out to feed the dog, and soon after I came in the kids pointed out a pinkish colored lizard above the back door. I tried several times to scoop him into a box. Catching him wasn't so difficult, but keeping in him in there proved to be a bit tricky. He was jumping out of the box, even from a height of four feet or so, and scurrying off. I finally got the box and lid coordinated enough to get him (her?) out of the house, but not before the kids had the idea of keeping him (her?) as a pet. I'm thinking we'll hold out for a pet that doesn't make us jump and scream as it moves about the house.
My cold is almost completely gone, though I'm still left with the lingering voice loss that usually plagues me for a week or two after any illness. Mira seemed to be having her crankiest cold day yet when she got up today. Fortunately she'd leveled out a bit by the time Sree finally made it for his Saturday visit. They're out now, but I'm expecting back in a few minutes. Ryan is determined that he's not going to get sick at all, and I believe him.

What an exciting thing to find! LOL!
I'm so glad you are feeling better.
Pam, Sounds like your house is never dull either:) fast little things...
Aspen is walking some:)
Indeed, my home is many different things on any given day, but dull is never one of them.
I need to see Aspen soon!
