Buckle up, December is here

The frenzy of holiday fun has officially begun at our house. Sunday we went to Six Flags for Holiday in the Park with friends:
Monday was our regular garden day, and we finally got our blueberry and blackberry bushes in. We had to dig 22 holes and looked like a chain gang:

While these little slackers harvest vegetables from the rest of the garden:

Today the kids and I made our annual trip to the Gaylord for ICE! I think this was the best year yet. It might have helped that we went when there were absolutely no crowds and it wasn't frreezing outside.

Tomorrow: meeting friends to take in Christmas cheer somewhere. Thursday: tree lighting at the town square. Friday: baking gingerbread people at a friend's house. Saturday: ornament exchange and holiday parade. Ah, the fun goes on and on.

The kids have officially started the Christmas countdown (23 days, in case you were wondering). Mira wants a lizard for Christmas. Yes, a real lizard. Ryan wants...do I really have to tell you? LEGOs!
