Friends

I have the most amazing friends and family. I feel completely loved and supported. I knew all along how great they all were, but every single one of them has demonstrated it in spades for the past four days.

Karnea - for being the first person I want to call when something's going on
Jay - for being calm, saying and doing all the right things, for being a great brother and uncle, for loving us
Kelly & Monica - for long distance friendship, 24 hours a day
Nichole - for feeding me and the kids when I couldn't even think of how to find the kitchen
Augustine & Atheena - for saying all the right things to Mira
Kyeli - for hopping on board for a rant and calming right down when I did
Aunt Mid & Uncle Dot - for being family always
Brian - for being calm, selfless and always, always there when I need him. For saying "that's just work. I have time to talk."
Tiffany - for being a stellar human being and the person who 9 months ago helped turn Mira around and became the one adult Mira was completely comfortable with outside of her parents, for being such an incredible source of information and a light in all of our lives
Jan - for always trying to understand even when she can't possibly
Wendi - for being an inspiration, for talking to Ryan and Mira about her kids' experiences, for being the most sunny person I know
the lady at Jamba Juice - for a kind gesture to a stranger having a bad day, showing me how beautiful people are
