and some clay that you shape and bake. The kids rolled out and cut tiles then glued them on. I did most of the grouting. Here's what it looks like now:
Mira has been busy coloring lots of pictures:
This is Super Dog. He's now the star of his own comic book, being created by Mira:
While our friends were here Tuesday, I knitted this shawl. It's my first attempt at making a shawl. Fortunately Mira's a very easy-to-please customer, and this is her favorite color.
We also hosted Mira's girl scout troop Friday (check out the link at the right if you want to see her GS Troop blog). The person whose turn it was to host had the flu. It was great for us, though, because Ryan got to hang out in his own house rather than trying to amuse himself outside at someone else's house. There were two other big brothers here, and they deemed Ryan's room "LEGO Heaven!" I'm going to show you these pictures, but you have to swear you won't report us to the health department.

Whoa! This is Vishak here. Ryan, your room really is lego heaven!! I've never seen so much lego in one room! Anyway, its nice to see you guys are doing fine. Good to know Mira is a girl scout. If I ever come to the US, I'll buy some of their cookies! I also like Super dog.
Love from all of us in Sri Lanka.
Ryan and Mira, you sure did a wonderful job on that mirror. I like it a lot. And I think I saw super dog fly over my house yesterday. See you next month, looking for my cookies!
