We've had this cheap little table from IKEA since Ryan was 2. It started out blue, then I painted it pink with golden crowns for Mira a few years ago. Another year later we mod-podged fairy pictures on it. This week, I got these beautiful tournament-sized chess pieces for a song on e-bay, but we didn't have a chess board for them. Nothing is exempt from repurposing in our house, so a few hours and lots of elbow grease later we had this fabulous chess table.
